Safeguarding
Stepping Stones is committed to keeping children safe.
We have robust safeguarding procedures and a highly trained team, including, but no limited to:
- Designated Safeguarding Lead
- Deputy DSL
- All staff are paediatric OFSTED approved first aiders (new staff obtain this within 1 month of starting), as well as being trained in Food Safety and Hygiene to a minimum Level 2
- Regular safeguarding training
- Two Code access intercoms to gain access to the building
- Quiet location away from main roads with a convenient drop off bay
- Safeguarding policy available for all parents, as well as other key policies, in the reception area of nurseries, located next to Teddies entrance
- Safeguarding Leaflet with key information available within the reception area next to the visitors book
